Today, a training seminar was organized at Tashkent State Agrarian University aimed at fundamentally improving the system of social prevention and strengthening cooperation between the university and local communities (mahallas).
The event was held in accordance with the priority tasks outlined in Presidential Decrees No. PQ-1 and PQ-2 dated January 5, 2026 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which focus on improving the effectiveness of social prevention, addressing issues in family and social relations, and scientifically analyzing the root causes of crime among women and youth through modern approaches.
Representatives of the university administration, mahalla activists, and law enforcement agencies actively participated in the training session.
During the seminar, the essence and significance of the presidential decrees were thoroughly studied. It was particularly emphasized that it is necessary to move away from formal moralizing and instead adopt scientific and psychological approaches to preventing offenses among youth and women.
