The event was organized at the initiative of the Information Resource Center and the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences. It was attended by the department’s professors and teachers — O. Ostonov, M. Abduraimova, R. Tursunov, Sh. Kimsanbayeva, F. Mamadaliyeva, F. Umarova, K. Shotursunov — as well as the director of the IRC, J. P. Temurkhodjayev.
Speakers highlighted the efforts made during the years of independence to raise the prestige of the Uzbek language and ensure its full use in all areas of state and public life. The significance of the Law on the State Language and its practical importance were illustrated with real-life examples.
During the event, students recited poems and shared interesting facts dedicated to their native language, creating a festive atmosphere. The event was held in a high spirit and further strengthened the youth’s sense of pride and love for their mother tongue.
