To mark October 13 — the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, Tashkent State Agrarian University organized a preventive and educational event. The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel M. Yunosov, First Deputy Head of the Emergency Situations Department of Qibray District, Tashkent Region; I. Baxronov, Head of the TSAU Administrative Department; F. Norbo‘tayev, Head of the Civil Protection and Occupational Safety Department; and a volunteer group comprising approximately 70 university students and young people. The event focused on emergency prevention, reducing the risks of natural and human-induced disasters, complying with safety regulations, and the importance of responding appropriately when emergencies occur. The important role of students and volunteers in preventing emergencies, ensuring public safety, and promoting a stronger culture of safety within the community was also emphasized.
