An international scientific and practical conference entitled “Modern Technologies and Quality Control in the Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products” was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The conference brought together local and international scientists, professors and lecturers, industry specialists, representatives of international organizations, and students. Participants discussed the introduction of modern technologies in the agricultural sector, ensuring food security, and improving product quality control.
➡️ The conference was opened by Narzullo Oblomurodov, Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University. Welcoming speeches were delivered by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Food Industry Association, and other organizations.
🔬 Scientific presentations and discussions were organized within the following thematic areas:
Storage, processing, and packaging of agricultural products — modern technologies, food safety, and international standards;
Green economy and sustainable development — agricultural logistics, legal frameworks, and the development of agrotourism;
Plant breeding, seed production, and plant protection — improving soil fertility and applying advances in biotechnology;
Fruit and vegetable production — innovative technologies and the preparation of export-oriented products in accordance with international standards.ding
Scientists and industry representatives from China, Georgia, and Russia shared their scientific expertise and advanced approaches. Particular attention was paid to the food industry, standardization, sanitary and epidemiological control, and the deep processing of agricultural products.
The participation of students was also important in bridging scientific knowledge with practical experience, encouraging young people to engage in research, and developing the professional competencies of future agricultural specialists.
