To strengthen international relations and enhance the scientific potential of faculty members and students, the university regularly organizes lectures and master classes with the participation of scholars from foreign universities and research institutes. Within this framework, Professor Shengquan Zhang, Director of the “Hybrid Wheat Research Institute” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered a master class on the topic “Chinese Methods in Developing Hybrid Wheat Varieties.” The event took place in room 408 of the Department of Genetics, Breeding, and Seed Production of Agricultural Crops. It was attended by 2nd–3rd year undergraduate students, 1st–2nd year master’s students, and 2nd–3rd year doctoral students specializing in crop breeding and seed production.
During the lecture, Professor Shengquan Zhang provided detailed insights into the Chinese experience in wheat breeding. The event concluded with a scientific discussion and Q&A session, where participants received comprehensive answers to their questions
