The conference was opened with an introductory speech by the university rector N. Oblomuradov. In his speech, he emphasized that the cultivation of medicinal plants and the development of forestry are of particular importance today. He also noted that the demand for these sectors is increasing year by year, environmentally favorable conditions are being created in some regions, and this process is also being observed in our country. The rector especially stressed the need for the population to pay greater attention to forestry and medicinal plant science. Professors and teachers of the university, industry specialists, scientists, young researchers, and students actively participated in the conference. During the scientific and practical conference, issues such as ensuring environmental sustainability, rational use of forest resources, cultivation of medicinal plants, and their scientific development were discussed.
At the end of the event, participants exchanged opinions and put forward important proposals and recommendations for the future development of the field.
