Alternative energy sources (by type)
Development and application of standard technological processes for maintenance and repair of objects, processes, systems, equipment and technical means related to the field of non-traditional and renewable energy in the field of alternative energy sources (by type) education. Students will receive theoretical and practical knowledge on the use of engineering systems and equipment in the operation of alternative energy sources, the use of parts and elements of power devices, the production of electricity and heat at solar photovoltaic installations, wind power plants, biofuels, hydrogen fuel, geothermal thermal power plants, hydroelectric power plants, pumped storage stations and small micro hydroelectric power plants, as well as related activities in this area.
Graduates can work as power engineers, electromechanics and specialists of various profiles at power supply enterprises of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as at agricultural enterprises, farms, in agro-industrial complexes and at enterprises of industrial engineering of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan. They can work in the processes of efficient design, operation and repair of power supply systems and energy devices based on alternative energy sources, production of alternative fuel resources and energy devices based on alternative energy sources.
