Veterinary medicine (by type of activity)

The Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine is a field of study that provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge on the organization of veterinary services, the development and implementation of necessary measures to protect and prevent the population from zoonotic diseases, their design and organization, the development and implementation of regulatory documents, as well as the provision of veterinary services to agricultural, domestic, fur, exotic and wild animals, poultry, bees and fish. Graduates can work in various positions in the Committee for the Development of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its regional departments, district and city departments, the Ministry of Defense, Internal Affairs, Customs, the State Security Service, the National Guard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the State Border and Transport Veterinary Service, the State Scientific Center for Quality Control and Circulation of Veterinary Drugs and Feed Additives, the Cynological Center, the Republican State Center for Diagnostics of Animal Diseases and Food Safety, as well as its regional, district and city territorial laboratories, private veterinary organizations.
