Strengthening international cooperation is truly the key to unlocking new opportunities. The agreements signed and meetings held between our university and various foreign educational institutions and organizations are proving to be significant steps for both our students and the advancement of our university. Today, Tashkent State Agrarian University welcomed an official visit from a delegation led by Huang Yan, a member of the leadership group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. During the visit, a number of important agreements were reached. During the meeting, the rector of our university, Narzullo Oblomuradov, emphasized that the cooperation between Uzbekistan and China is growing stronger. In particular, the expansion of collaboration in scientific research, exchange of experience, and the strengthening of historically established friendly relations were highlighted as areas of great importance. As part of the visit, the head of the Chinese delegation, Huang Yan, proposed the initiative to establish a modern scientific laboratory at Tashkent State Agrarian University. This project is expected to become a key step in enhancing the joint scientific and research potential and applying innovative ideas in the agricultural sector. The parties agreed to cooperate in areas such as seed production, horticulture, fruit and vegetable farming, grain cultivation, cotton production, the introduction of water-saving technologies, and the practical application of modern innovations and technologies in agriculture.
Furthermore, during the meeting, information was shared about the launch of joint academic programs involving the professors and students of Tashkent State Agrarian University, particularly a 1+1 master’s program that would allow students to study in China. Undoubtedly, this visit will contribute significantly to further strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the agricultural sector.
