A delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Haji Muhammad bin Sabu, visited Tashkent State Agrarian University. The distinguished guests were welcomed by the Rector of the university, Narzullo Oblomuradov, who introduced them to the university’s activities and ongoing initiatives in education and scientific research.
During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the agricultural sector. Special attention was given to the effective use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in agriculture, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies to increase productivity, and the use of digital and innovative solutions.
The parties also discussed the implementation of joint research projects in the field of agricultural science, launching exchange programs for faculty members and students, organizing professional development courses, and sharing experience in modern agricultural technologies.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on ensuring global food security, introducing modern technologies and AI-based solutions in agriculture, ensuring sustainable development of the agricultural sector under climate change conditions, strengthening scientific research, and expanding international cooperation in agricultural education.
