Department of scientific research and innovation

Main Objectives and Functions of the Department:

   The primary objective of the department is to foster the advancement of national science by initiating and coordinating research activities aligned with the priority areas of the Republic, while enhancing the scientific potential of the university.

   In pursuit of this objective, the department is responsible for the following functions:
Coordinating research activities conducted by academic staff within university departments and ensuring the proper management of related documentation;

   Organizing scientific and practical conferences, seminars, training sessions, and master classes at international, national, and institutional levels for academic staff, PhD and DSc candidates, research interns, independent researchers, and students of master's and bachelor's programs;

   Providing support in the execution of scientific research and technological developments by academic staff, doctoral candidates, research interns, and independent researchers, as well as promoting the application of research outcomes in practice;

    Organizing qualifying examinations for PhD candidates, research interns, and independent researchers;

   Facilitating internships and academic exchange programs for young researchers at leading international higher education institutions and research centers in their respective fields;

   Conducting quarterly monitoring and evaluation of the scientific research outcomes of academic staff.
