The department was established in 1957. The Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of Tashkent State Agrarian University plays an important role in the university’s educational and scientific activities.
The department is engaged in the study and teaching of subjects related to society and human life. It conducts lectures on social and humanitarian sciences, carries out scientific research, and applies modern pedagogical methods. The department fosters moral and ethical values, patriotism, and humanity among students, enhances their social activity, and promotes high moral standards. It also contributes to students’ personal development and their participation in university and faculty events.Currently, the department employs 2 Doctors of Science and 12 Candidates of Science.
