The Department of Vegetable Growing and Organisation of Greenhouse Farming

The Department of Vegetable Growing and Organisation of Greenhouse Farming trains specialists in vegetable growing, melon growing, potato growing and protected land vegetable growing.
The main direction of the department’s activity is the development of modern resource-saving technologies for growing vegetable crops, in-depth study of species, classification, significance and biological features of vegetable, melon and potato crops, introduction of non-traditional vegetable crops, development of agrotechnologies of cultivation and organization of seed production, study of new foreign varietal samples of vegetable crops, selection and creation of promising varieties, improvement of technologies for growing seedlings and vegetables in protected areas.
