Dual Education System: An Effective Model of Integrating Theory and Practice

In order to ensure the implementation of the priority tasks defined during the open dialogue of the Head of State with youth on February 24, 2026, at Tashkent State Agrarian University, the dual education system, which ensures the close integration of education and production, has been elevated to a new stage. In particular, practical training processes organized for 3rd-year students of the “Agricultural Engineering” program at the “Chirchik Agrotech Cluster” cover all technological cycles of agricultural machinery production.
Within this program, students are directly involved in assembling tractors and agricultural machinery, adjusting aggregates, and implementing innovative engineering solutions, thereby strengthening their theoretical knowledge in real production conditions.

The distinctive feature of this system is that it provides students not only with academic knowledge but also with social and financial stability. Students currently working at the cluster receive a fair salary for their labor, and are also provided with free transportation and meals by the enterprise. This increases young engineers’ enthusiasm for their profession and helps them become highly qualified and competitive specialists in the future labor market.
This practical model introduced by TSAU is of strategic importance in raising the quality of higher education to a new level, supplying enterprises with ready specialists, and modernizing the agricultural sector.
