Faculty of distance education

The Faculty of Distance Education was established to expand access to education through modern information and communication technologies, create a flexible and accessible learning environment for students, and train highly qualified professionals.

The faculty’s main areas of activity include integrating digital technologies into the educational process, applying modern teaching methods, supporting independent learning, and combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills.

Distance learning enables students to improve their knowledge and qualifications, combine their studies with professional activities, and develop the competencies required by the modern labor market.

The faculty’s primary goal is to train competitive and knowledgeable professionals who are proficient in modern technologies and capable of making independent decisions in their professional fields.

Faculty of distance education

Pursuant to Resolution No. 930 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 21, 2017, “On the Procedure for Organizing Correspondence (Special Correspondence) and Evening (Shift-Based) Education in Higher Education Institutions,” and Resolution No. PP-3704 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 8, 2018, “On Measures to Fundamentally Improve the System of Training Higher-Education-Qualified Personnel at Tashkent State Agrarian University,” the Department of Correspondence Education and Distance Learning was reorganized in accordance with Order No. 1-9-6/334 of the Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University dated May 22, 2018.
In accordance with Order No. 1-9-6/152 of the University Rector dated February 21, 2019, the department was reorganized as the Department of Correspondence (Special Correspondence) Education.
Pursuant to Resolution No. PP-60 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 24, 2021, “On Additional Measures to Ensure the Academic and Organizational Autonomy of State Higher Education Institutions,” Order No. 299 of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 24, 2022, “On Approval of the Updated Organizational Structures of Higher Education Institutions within the Ministry’s System,” and Order No. 1-9-6/380 of the University Rector dated December 1, 2022, the Faculty of Correspondence (Distance) Education was established.
The Faculty of Distance Education focuses on integrating modern information and communication technologies into the educational process, expanding access to distance learning, and providing students with modern opportunities to obtain quality higher education.
