The Faculty of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products is a modern educational institution aimed at training specialists with advanced knowledge and practical skills in this field.

 

The Faculty of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products is an educational institution formed on the basis of modern needs, but with deep historical roots. Although the faculty began its activities in 2019 in an independent direction.

 

As of today, the faculty:

 

In-depth study of modern agricultural technologies, systems for storing and processing products;

Ensuring food security and developing environmental sustainability;

Students studying at the faculty:

master modern technologies for the storage and processing of food products;

prepare for work in quality control, standardization, and certification systems;

 

 

Currently, the faculty includes:

 

10 professors,

27 associate professors,

10 senior teachers

23 assistants

6 trainee instructors are active.

As a result of their efforts, more than 700 specialists have passed away to this day.

 

 

The following departments operate within the faculty:

  2. 2. Standardization and certification of agricultural biotechnology;
  3. 3. Departments of Biochemistry and Physiology are functioning;

Storage and processing of agricultural products

The Faculty of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products has made a significant contribution to the training of highly qualified technologists, scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel, as well as to the development of agricultural science. The faculty has trained 400 specialists in the fields of storage and processing of agricultural products, quality assessment and certification of products, and biotechnology.

The faculty has a highly qualified teaching staff and plays a leading role in training specialists and advancing agricultural science.

According to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4421 dated August 19, 2019, "On measures to further improve the activities of Tashkent State Agrarian University", the name of the faculty "Innovative Technologies for Storage and Processing of Products" was changed to "Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products."
