Field Study Session Organized by Representatives of Tashkent State Agrarian University at the Institute of Zoology

A high-level field study session on the subject "Zoology" was organized for first-year students (groups 25-80, 81, 82) of the Faculty of Zooengineering, specialization "Sericulture and Mulberry Growing," at the Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU). This practical session took place at the Institute of Zoology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Under the guidance of Professor Ch. Bekkamov and Senior Lecturer N. Sokhibova from the Department of Sericulture and Mulberry Growing, students gained knowledge within the scope of the topic "The Origin, Systematics, and Progressive Features of the Class Aves (Birds)." In the institute's specialized laboratories and systematics rooms, the students had the opportunity to closely examine the fauna of our country, including species listed in the "Red Book."

During the field session, responsible specialist staff provided extensive scientific and analytical information about the genera, families, and species of birds. Furthermore, the high role and significance of birds in agriculture among vertebrate animals were specifically emphasized. This visit served to enrich theoretical knowledge with practical skills, was conducted in an exemplary educational and methodical manner, and further increased the students' interest in the subject of Zoology.
