A preliminary thesis defense was held for second-year master’s students of the Horticulture program at the NWAFU Tashkent campus. Members of the Chinese and international defense committee jointly observed the process in both online and offline formats.
During the defense session, three talented master’s students successfully presented their research on strawberry cultivation and breeding:
R. Kayrat — “Analysis of Biological Characteristics and Fruit Quality of Hybrid Strawberry Progeny Bailu × Xiangye”;
A. Urazboev — “Study of Biological Characteristics of Strawberry Parental Forms and Their Hybrid Progeny”;
A. Olimov — “Analysis of Plant Characteristics and Fruit Quality of Hybrid Strawberry Progeny Xuetu × Xiangye”.
After a question-and-answer session based on the practical realities of the agricultural industry in China and Uzbekistan, the committee members unanimously approved all three students’ works.
We congratulate our students on this successful milestone and wish them further achievements in their academic careers.
