view 131

As one of the most important seasons in the country’s agriculture – cotton harvesting – enters its peak stage, a large-scale scientific-practical seminar was held in the Bukhara region, playing a key role in promoting the wide implementation of innovative approaches in cotton growing. At this seminar, under the leadership of Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University N. Oblomuradov, experienced professors and lecturers shared scientific knowledge and practical skills with mechanizer-operators, young specialists, farmers, cluster representatives, and deputy district governors. Organized in harmony of theory and practice, the seminar included two days of theoretical sessions attended by about 100 mechanizer-operators and representatives of local authorities. On the third day, practical training was held in the field for nearly 300 farmers, mechanizers, and specialists. During the practice, various models of cotton harvesting machines produced by foreign manufacturers were demonstrated. Our professors and lecturers explained in detail the principles of their operation, effective management, adjustment, and maintenance procedures to the participants. At the conclusion of the seminar, our specialists developed special methodological manuals, which were distributed to all districts of the Bukhara region. These materials are expected to serve as practical reference resources for mechanizers and farmers.

The main purpose of organizing this seminar is to ensure quality preparation of cotton fields for harvesting, make full use of modern machinery, and, most importantly, enhance the qualifications of mechanizers and operators.
