Today, the Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University, N. Oblomuradov, together with the faculty members, visited a 54-hectare modern intensive orchard owned by “Meredian Tempo” LLC, located in Kumushkon village, Parkent district of Tashkent region. This orchard serves as an example not only in fruit production but also in the introduction of advanced agro-technologies. Export-oriented varieties of cherries, apples, pears, and raspberries are cultivated here. Remarkably, the seedlings were imported from France and Spain, known for their high productivity and exceptional fruit quality. Water-saving — preserving the future A fully implemented drip irrigation system operates in the orchard. Water is first collected in special reservoirs and then distributed across the fields using natural slopes, without consuming any energy. As a result, costs are reduced, production becomes more affordable, and most importantly, water resources are preserved. Harnessing the power of the sun
Solar panels installed on the site provide clean, eco-friendly energy. This not only increases economic efficiency but also reflects a strong commitment to environmental responsibility.
High-quality fruits for local and global markets
The delicious and high-quality fruits grown here are supplied both to the domestic market and for export. This contributes not only to the economic development of the region but also to strengthening our country’s agrarian potential in the global marketplace.
