view 37

The meeting held at the Tashkent State Agrarian University within the framework of the Netherlands–Uzbekistan Symposium became a significant event in elevating the scientific and practical cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
During the discussions between the Rector of the University, Narzullo Oblomuradov, the Netherlands' Advisor on Water Management and Food Security, Alfred Evers, and the representative of Wageningen University & Research, Ronald Voogdt, a number of priority areas were discussed. In particular, special attention was paid to the issues of sustainable agricultural development, the wide introduction of modern agrotechnologies, and the improvement of the education system based on international standards.
During the meeting, several important initiatives were proposed regarding the modernization of educational programs, the launch of joint projects in agro-education, the integration of scientific research with practice, and the development of young specialists' knowledge and skills in line with global requirements.

This cooperation will serve as a key factor not only in further strengthening friendly ties between the two nations but also in bringing the agricultural sector to a new stage based on science and innovation, ensuring global food security, the rational use of resources, and achieving sustainable development.
