International Mother Language Day Widely Celebrated at Tashkent State Agricultural University!

A spiritual and educational event titled "Honor the Language, Know the World!" was organized at Tashkent State Agricultural University on the occasion of International Mother Language Day. J. Lapasov, the University's First Vice-Rector for Youth Issues and Spiritual-Educational Affairs, opened the event and emphasized the importance of learning foreign languages alongside the Uzbek language in today’s rapidly developing world. During the event, a video showcasing foreign languages was presented. Following this, Professor Zoltan Lakner, International Advisor to the Rector of Tashkent State Agricultural University, shared his insights. The event was attended by Dr. Grace Mukupa, PhD and MBA from the State University of New York; Dr. Emilda, Professor at Webster University; Sakio Sugaya, Director of the "Literary Studies" Research Institute and JICA representative from Tokyo, Japan; M. Yusupova, an honorary French language teacher; Dursun Ahmet, a student from Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University (Turkey); as well as university professors and students. During the program, teachers from the Department of Languages and talented students presented holiday greetings in various languages. Representatives of the International Cultural Center performed songs and dances in Korean, Azerbaijani, Uyghur, and Turkmen.

Students showcased a diverse program including the song "FairyTale" (in English), a stage play titled "Mind Your English" (in English), the "Lezginka" dance, a "Guli and Navoi Monologue" (in Uzbek), the "Khorezm Lazgi" dance, a song in Russian, the "Madam" dance, and special performances by a student named Javohir.
