Within the framework of the project “Trade Development in the East: Balkan Countries and Central Asia”, funded by the Government of Switzerland, the International Trade Centre (ITC) organized a technical training seminar on June 8 dedicated to the development of the dried fruit sector.
The seminar was conducted by ITC international experts:
— Anton Ervi (South Africa) – international expert and technologist in the dried fruit sector;
— Frederine Derlo – international expert on agricultural markets.
The event was attended by representatives of more than 20 leading companies involved in the production and export of dried products, including “UZPEX”, “BEST TASTES TECHNOLOGY” and “VITA BOOM”, as well as professors A. Azizov and Associate Professor M. Ochilov from TDAU.
The seminar covered key topics such as raw material preparation, product quality management, storage and packaging, compliance with international standards, and improving export potential.
