Boboyev Sayfulla G‘afurovich
Boboev Sayfulla Gafurovich is a distinguished educator and researcher with extensive experience in science and education. He currently serves as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Tashkent State Agrarian University.
From 1996 to 2000, he studied at Tashkent State Agrarian University and earned his bachelor’s degree. Between 2000 and 2004, he worked as a junior researcher at the Cotton Breeding and Seed Production Research Institute of Uzbekistan. From 2004 to 2006, he pursued a master’s degree at the same university.
From 2006 to 2009, he again served as a junior researcher at the same institute. From 2010 to 2012, he held the position of senior researcher. In 2012–2013, he was head of the Cotton Genetics and Cytology Laboratory at the institute.
From 2014 to 2016, he worked as a senior research fellow at the Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology of the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan. In 2017, he led a project under the Department of Biotechnology at the same university. That same year, he also worked as a senior researcher at the Research Institute of Cotton Breeding, Seed Production, and Cultivation Agrotechnologies.
From 2017 to 2018, he served as an associate professor at the Department of Genetics at Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan. From 2018 to 2024, he was head of the same department. In 2024–2025, he headed the Department of Botany and Genetics at the university.
Since 2025, he has been serving as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Tashkent State Agrarian University.
