Ecology
This programme specifically addresses climate change, environmental sustainability, and ecological management. It equips students with knowledge and skills aligned with global sustainability challenges and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
The main objective of the speciality ‘Ecology’ is to train specialists with scientific and practical knowledge aimed at reducing the negative impact of human activity on the natural environment, maintaining ecological balance and ensuring sustainable development.
This speciality involves the following tasks: studying ecosystems and developing ways to preserve them; developing methods to detect, prevent and control environmental pollution;
Ensuring the rational use of resources;
Participating in the implementation of environmental policy and legislation;
Raising environmental awareness among the population.
