At Tashkent State Agrarian University, a meeting between representatives of the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU) and students, along with a project presentation session, was organized within the framework of the “Step Towards the Future” program. The event was attended by Khurshid Eshonqulov, Deputy Director of the NBU’s “Step Towards the Future” Center, and students presenting their business ideas and startup projects.
During the meeting, students showcased their business and startup projects. Discussions focused on project financing, practical implementation, and the establishment of entrepreneurial activities. Participants were also provided with detailed information about the opportunities and financial services available to support young entrepreneurs through the “Step Towards the Future” program.
It was noted that, to date, 148 projects with a total value of 7.923 billion UZS have been developed through the “Step Towards the Future” Center operating at Tashkent State Agrarian University in cooperation with the National Bank of Uzbekistan. Of these, 93 students have launched their own businesses through loans totaling 2.39 billion UZS, creating nearly 100 new jobs.
The meeting served to support students’ business ideas, encourage greater participation in entrepreneurship, and enhance the economic activity of young people.
