The team of Tashkent State Agrarian University visited the city of Nurafshon. Honoring the memory of ancestors and respecting the elderly are among the greatest values of our nation. Therefore, in the noble initiatives and programs carried out annually in our country, respect and attention toward elderly and honorable people have always remained at the center of focus. Under the leadership of the Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment, S. Isroilov, faculty tutors, Youth Union coordinators, and nearly 150 active students visited the “Vatanparvar Bog‘i” in Nurafshon city on the occasion of May 9 — “Day of Memory and Appreciation” to watch the feature film “Bahodir Yalangto‘sh,” which was presented within the framework of the “Kinokarvon” project. “Bahodir Yalangto‘sh” is a historical feature film directed by Uzbek filmmaker Jahongir Ahmedov. The film vividly portrays the difficult life journey of the great historical figure Bahodir Yalangto‘sh, his challenging activities, and how he always placed the interests of the homeland above all else in every situation. Honoring the memory of our compatriots who showed courage and sacrificed their lives for the peaceful and prosperous life of our country today is the highest duty of us all. As the saying goes, “Human dignity is sacred, and memory is eternal.”
