As part of the celebrations marking Youth Day, a dialogue was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University with the participation of Akmal Jumanazarov, Director of the Technical Regulation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the University Narzullo Oblomuradov, representatives of the Agency, professors and lecturers, as well as students of the Faculty of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products.
During the dialogue, participants exchanged views on recent developments in standardization, metrology, certification and product quality management, as well as the growing demand for qualified specialists in these areas. As part of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in personnel training was signed between the Technical Regulation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The main objective of the memorandum is to develop cooperation in training specialists who possess modern knowledge and practical skills and have a deep understanding of advanced production technologies based on the “Industry–Enterprise–University” model.
Representatives of the Agency also familiarized themselves with the laboratories of the Faculty of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products, particularly the “Ecophysiological Research” Laboratory. At the conclusion of the event, ornamental tree seedlings were planted on the university campus as part of the nationwide “Green Space” project. This noble initiative carried special significance as a symbol of sustainable cooperation, renewal and the creation of a green environment for future generations.our Heading
