Practical activities of students participating in the “New Agronomist” programme were reviewed in the cotton fields of the “Abdumannop Pirimqulov” farm, located in the Hamid Olimjon area of Akkurgan District, Tashkent Region. During the meeting, Minister of Agriculture Ibrohim Abdurahmonov held discussions with professors and teaching staff, agricultural scientists, and students of Tashkent State Agrarian University. The discussions with young agronomists focused on enhancing their practical knowledge and skills, strengthening their theoretical knowledge through hands-on field experience, and introducing modern agricultural technologies into practice. During the dialogue with agricultural machinery operators, participants discussed the efficient use of agricultural machinery, improving labour productivity, and actively engaging young machinery operators in the agricultural sector. The young agronomists were encouraged to thoroughly master each agrotechnical practice, apply modern approaches in the field, and demonstrate a responsible attitude towards their professional activities.
