At the university’s field training and experimental farm, under the guidance of Professor M. Atabayev and Assistant M. Musurmonova from the Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science, first-year master’s student U. A. Kudiyarova carried out field research.
During the study, the master’s students conducted physiological observations on the maturation period of Chinese cotton varieties. These observations are of great importance for increasing cotton yield, ensuring proper water and fertilizer management, and determining the optimal harvesting time.
Physiological observations during the cotton maturation (ripening) period are scientific and practical studies aimed at assessing the condition of the plant in the pre-harvest phase and monitoring the maturation process. The research was conducted in special Wagner vessels.
