A Republican scientific-practical conference titled “Environmental Risks Associated with Climate Change and Practical Measures” was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University. The event brought together specialists from sectoral organizations, higher education institutions, and research institutes, as well as professors and young researchers.
The opening session addressed issues of environmental protection, the development of science and innovation in agriculture, as well as political and legal reforms in the field. In the main sessions, scientific reports were presented on preventing the climate crisis and adapting to its impacts across several key areas.
Within the conference, participants exchanged experience and held active discussions in the following four sections:
Environmental Culture: increasing public environmental awareness and consciousness in environmental protection.
Sustainable Resource Use: prevention of soil degradation and issues related to the use of transboundary water resources.
Agroindustry and Biological Protection: rational use of biological resources, crop production, and protection against diseases and pests.
Digital Monitoring: comprehensive assessment and analysis of climate change impacts in the agro-industrial system using modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
At the conclusion of the conference, proposals and recommendations were discussed, practical measures to mitigate the effects of climate change were identified, and active participants were awarded.
