At the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) in Mexico — a globally recognized research institution — Professor A. Nurbekov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences and a faculty member of the Department of Crop Science at Tashkent State Agrarian University, proudly represented the university during the “Wheat Training for Uzbekistan 2025” program. He delivered a lecture on the topic “Climate Change Mitigation and Crop Management Practices.” The training program was attended by young scientists, researchers, and doctoral students from various research institutes and higher education institutions across Uzbekistan.
In his lecture, Professor Nurbekov provided detailed insights into the impact of climate change on agricultural systems, modern approaches to crop management, and ways to stabilize productivity through the efficient use of resources.
