B. Isroilov, an assistant at the Department of Crop Science of Tashkent State Agrarian University, is actively participating in the international “Wheat Training for Uzbekistan 2025” program organized by the prestigious CIMMYT (International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center). This training course aims to enhance the qualifications of young Uzbek scientists and researchers in areas such as increasing cereal crop yields, improving grain quality, wheat breeding, physiology, diseases, biotechnology, conservation and resource-saving technologies, and agricultural mechanization.
Within the course, Bakhtiyor Isroilov is taking part in the “Conservation Agriculture” module, where he is practically studying modern principles such as minimum soil tillage, maintaining permanent soil cover, and crop rotation. The program began at CIMMYT Headquarters in Mexico and is currently continuing at the BISA (Borlaug Institute for South Asia) in India. Participants are learning from advanced international experiences in conservation and resource-efficient farming practices.

This international training course plays an important role in strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and CIMMYT and in broadening the scientific and practical experience of young Uzbek researchers.
