A presentation of Sarchashma, a book dedicated to the memory of Abdulhamid Sulaymon o‘g‘li Cho‘lpon, an outstanding figure in twentieth-century Uzbek literature, a talented poet and an enlightener, was held at the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.The event was attended by Sayyora Xolmirzayeva, Head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature at Tashkent State Agrarian University, along with department lecturers Yusuf Boboyev and Dildora Mirzaliyeva. During the presentation, participants exchanged views on Cho‘lpon’s rich literary legacy, creative work, and invaluable contribution to the development of Uzbek national literature. Particular attention was given to the role of the family environment in shaping the poet’s personality, especially the educational and enlightened views of his father, Sulaymonqul Bazzaz, and the influence of his upbringing. The book Sarchashma is particularly significant because it offers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding not only of Cho‘lpon’s literary works but also of the spiritual environment that shaped him, his worldview, and his life journey.
