Representatives of the Agency for Increasing Forests and Green Areas and Combating Desertification became familiar with the conditions created for youth and the educational and scientific laboratories at Tashkent State Agrarian University

Initially, the guests visited the “Renaissance” lecture hall and engaged in a meaningful exchange of views. They also toured the “Ornamental Seedling Cultivation” laboratory at the Faculty of Forestry and Landscape Design. There, they were provided with detailed information on modern seedling cultivation technologies and advanced practices in landscape design, and an exchange of ideas took place. During the event, the guests also got acquainted with the operations of the drying laboratory at the Faculty of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products. In addition, a demonstration corner with various soil samples, organized according to modern requirements at the Faculty of Plant Protection, Agrochemistry, and Soil Science, attracted significant interest. The exhibition displayed 22 soil samples characteristic of desert, foothill, and mountainous regions, with detailed explanations of their diversity, properties, and scientific and practical significance. Furthermore, the guests learned about the activities of a modern scientific laboratory within the framework of the project “Improving the Agricultural Environment and Training Professional Personnel in Uzbekistan,” implemented in cooperation with Chungnam National University (South Korea).

During this meeting, interesting ideas were expressed regarding the exchange of scientific experience and the development of practical cooperation, which once again confirmed the international relevance of the scientific work carried out at Tashkent State Agrarian University.
