Within the framework of the international week, representatives of the Tashkent State Agrarian University conducted training sessions for international and local students in the field of agricultural economics. These classes not only contributed to developing students’ knowledge and skills, but also helped them learn about the agriculture, culture, and practices of Uzbekistan. As part of the week, an international training session was also organized, bringing together representatives from more than 100 higher education institutions across over 40 countries. TSAU representatives took part in the training, held meetings with representatives of foreign universities, and exchanged views on prospects for mutual cooperation. Members of the delegation also met with TSAU students studying at this university under joint educational programs and within the framework of the Erasmus+ project. During the discussions, students’ academic processes, living conditions, and future plans were addressed.
In addition, official meetings were held with Astrida Miceikiene, Vice-Rector of the university, and Vigilijus Jukna, Chancellor of the Agriculture Academy. As a result of the negotiations, priority areas were identified for further strengthening bilateral cooperation, launching new joint educational programs, and expanding research activities.
