In order to ensure the implementation of Clause 17 of the statement of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 10, 2025, titled “On the ongoing efforts and future plans to combat corruption, improve compliance control, and digitalization,” as well as the assignment No. 02/23-613 dated February 6, 2026 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, a roundtable discussion aimed at fostering an uncompromising attitude toward financial offenses and the shadow economy was organized.
At the event, Professor Sharif Rakhimovich Qobilov of the Department of Management Sciences of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan delivered a lecture entitled “Let Us Unite to Transform New Uzbekistan into a Country Free from Corruption!” In addition, Professor and Academician Saidasror Saydakhmedovich Gulyamov of the Department of Agroeconomics, Faculty of Agroeconomics, Logistics and Services of Tashkent State Agrarian University delivered a presentation on “Combating Financial Offenses and the Shadow Economy.” The University’s Chief Auditor, Javlon Davronovich Eshmurodov, also participated with a lecture on “The Shadow Economy and Liability for It.” During the event, Sh. Qobilov presented copies of B.A. Matlyubov’s teaching and methodological manuals titled “The History of Ensuring Public Order and Security in Uzbekistan” and “Combating Corruption” to the staff and the university library.
This roundtable discussion served to strengthen participants’ uncompromising stance against corruption, financial offenses, and the shadow economy, as well as to enhance their sense of responsibility in ensuring transparency and the rule of law.
