A seminar-training dedicated to the digitalization of agriculture and the implementation of modern technologies into practice was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University with the participation of specialists from the “Uzcosmos” Agency. Among the participants were Umidjon Kamalov, Head of the Space Monitoring Data Processing and Analysis Department, Jakhongir Karimov, Chief Specialist of the Department of Science and Strategies in the Space Sector, and other experts.
The event, organized on the initiative of the “AgroEcoClub” team, was conducted under the slogan “Knowledge and Innovation for the Future.”
During the seminar, participants discussed monitoring land conditions using satellite technologies, effective management of water resources, and accurate forecasting of crop yields from space. Such innovations represent not only high technology, but also a new stage of economic efficiency.
At the seminar-training, experienced specialists from the “Uzcosmos” Agency shared their knowledge and skills with students and demonstrated the importance of remote sensing in plant monitoring and ensuring environmental sustainability through practical examples.
