South Korean Experience at Tashkent State Agrarian University: An International Seminar-Training Organized for Faculty Member

An international seminar-training has commenced at Tashkent State Agrarian University within the framework of an international program implemented in cooperation with Chungnam National University (Republic of Korea).
The main objectives of the seminar-training are to update academic curricula, develop modern educational programs for teaching the core discipline of Soil Science within the framework of the international project, promote scientific experience exchange, and introduce faculty members to modern technologies and practices aimed at preserving, restoring, and enhancing soil fertility under climate change conditions, ensuring sustainable environmental management, and creating systems based on a balance between humans and nature.
The seminar-training is being held from January 26 to February 6, 2026. The sessions are conducted by Professor Kim Seong-Cheol of the Faculty of Soil Science at Chungnam National University. Participants are provided with detailed information on scientific research findings, modern methodologies, and international recommendations focused on maintaining and improving soil fertility.
Upon completion of the seminar-training, faculty members will apply new curricula and innovative approaches in their professional activities and acquire practical skills aimed at improving soil fertility. This will contribute to the introduction of advanced international experience into Uzbekistan’s agricultural education system.

The seminar-training strengthens cooperation between the university and international partners and creates a solid foundation for further development of the educational and scientific process.
