Tashkent State Agrarian University and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan signed an agreement aimed at introducing advanced technologies and best practices in the agricultural sector.

Today, during a visit to the city of Nukus, the delegation of our university concluded a number of cooperation agreements with various organizations and institutions as part of efforts to implement the Presidential decree “On additional measures to improve quality and efficiency through the integration of science, education, and production in the agricultural sector.” As part of the “Made in Karakalpakstan” exhibition and the “Invest in Karakalpakstan” investment forum, the agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Farhod Ermanov, and the Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University Narzullo Oblomurodov.
The agreement aims to ensure the effective implementation of the tasks set out in the Strategy for Agricultural Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020–2030, facilitate the integration of science, education, and production in the agricultural sector, promote the development of human resources and their effective use, and contribute to the formation of a guaranteed labor market.


In addition, the forum was attended by ambassadors of our country abroad, foreign investors, and representatives of international organizations, who discussed the conditions created in Karakalpakstan, investment opportunities, including projects related to agriculture.
