Students of the Meva-sabzavotchilik va uzumchilik (Fruit Growing and Viticulture) educational program, groups 24–50 and 24–51 of the Faculty of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture at Tashkent State Agrarian University, are undergoing practical training at the Educational and Scientific Experimental Farm under the supervision of internship leader Xomidjonov Abdumo‘min.
During the training, students became closely acquainted with modern methods of shaping fruit trees, prospects for growing fruit plants in open and protected areas, as well as advanced technologies for training and caring for grapevines.
They also gained practical skills in pruning techniques, including its importance, methods, and timing, as well as the biological and economic characteristics of fruit and grape varieties cultivated in the country and newly introduced ones.
