The 4th meeting of the Academic Council of Tashkent State Agrarian University took place. The meeting discussed current and important issues related to the university’s activities. At the beginning, the Council analyzed the key priorities outlined in the speech of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as the tasks raised during the video conference chaired by the President on October 21 regarding the accelerated implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in public administration, economic sectors, and regions. In these areas, the university’s rector, N. Oblomuradov, provided detailed information to Council members. In addition, the meeting reviewed the results of student admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year, the current state of educational, methodological, spiritual, and educational work at the university’s academic lyceum, ongoing building renovation projects, as well as the educational, scientific, and spiritual-educational activities of the Faculty of Agroengineering and Agrotechnologies. The Council also considered several key issues, including: approval of enterprises and organizations where final state examinations for bachelor’s and master’s degree programs will be held in the 2025/2026 academic year; certification of textbooks and teaching aids prepared by the university’s faculty members; recommendations for the publication of scientific monographs; and approval of performance evaluation criteria for 62 teaching staff members.
During the session, the Council also discussed the applications of candidates who submitted attestation documents to the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) for the conferment of academic titles; granted permission for teachers without academic degrees or titles to deliver up to 250 hours of lectures during the academic year; allowed students who were late in paying tuition fees to continue mastering their subjects for the current semester based on their personal academic record; and reviewed the interim report for September–October 2025 on the project “Obtaining initial material for a biopreparation based on endophytic bacteria and its application against lavender root diseases.” At the end of the event, an award ceremony was held to honor faculty members who received academic titles
