The event aims to widely promote a healthy lifestyle among students, organize their free time meaningfully, and further increase their interest in mass sports. This sports event was organized in order to ensure the implementation of the instructions given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the meeting with youth on February 24, 2026, as well as the joint resolution of relevant ministries and agencies. The event was attended by the university administration, professors and teachers, well-known athletes, and teams selected from all faculties in 7 sports disciplines. The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Jasur Lapasov, who in his speech encouraged young people to regularly engage in sports, follow a healthy lifestyle, and strive for high achievements. Within the framework of the Olympiad, intense and uncompromising competitions were held in sports such as football, basketball (3x3), volleyball, handball, athletics, table tennis, and swimming. In each discipline, students demonstrated their physical fitness, agility, and teamwork skills, striving hard for victory.
During the competition, not only strength and skill but also friendship, solidarity, and a spirit of fair competition were clearly demonstrated. This serves the main goal of the Olympiad — promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth and increasing their interest in sports.
