The first Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Spain has commenced in the cities of Madrid and Barcelona, Kingdom of Spain. This prestigious event aims to elevate educational and scientific cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
The forum brings together nearly 30 leaders and representatives of higher education institutions from Uzbekistan. Among the participants is Abduaziz Abduvasikov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Transformation, and Strategic Development of Tashkent State Agrarian University.
Within the framework of the forum, participants are discussing the development of cooperation with leading Spanish universities in the fields of education and science, the implementation of joint academic programs and research projects, the promotion of faculty and student exchange programs, and the organization of short-term internships.
The parties are also exchanging views on jointly organizing lectures, seminars, workshops, and scientific events, studying advanced international experience, and expanding academic partnerships.
Following the forum, the signing of cooperation memorandums and agreements in promising areas is planned, along with the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving the quality of higher education.
