Today, the Information Resource Center of Tashkent State Agrarian University hosted a true celebration of enlightenment and culture. The “International Book Festival” was organized to promote reading culture and encourage a love for books among young people.
The event was attended by the university rector Narzullo Oblomuradov, experienced professors, and book-loving students.
During the festival, a unique cultural bridge was established between local and international publishing houses, visiting writers and poets from various countries, as well as representatives of the arts. Participants had the opportunity to engage in face-to-face discussions with renowned authors, attend presentations of new works, and enhance their knowledge through мастер classes. In addition, large-scale exhibitions and book fairs showcased masterpieces of world and Uzbek literature, including both modern and classical publications. Visitors were also given the opportunity to purchase books at discounted prices.
As emphasized by the rector in his speech, international events like this play a crucial role in enhancing students’ intellectual potential and fostering their interest in science and knowledge. This festival became not only a place for book sales but also a true center of spiritual and cultural exchange, leaving unforgettable impressions on all participants.
