Today our university was filled with students. The new academic year started with joy in the students’ eyes, the first spring of student life, and in a highly spirited mood. This joyful day began with a beautiful event. The Rector of the university, N. Oblomuradov, congratulated the newly admitted first-year students. In his speech, he stated:
“Dear Renaissance youth! On behalf of the team of Tashkent State Agrarian University, I sincerely congratulate you on taking your first step towards higher education! Today, profound reforms are being carried out in the agrarian sector of our country. Studying in this field will become not only your personal success, but also an important contribution to the development of our nation’s agrarian sphere. I am confident that in the coming years you will play an active role in bringing agriculture to a new stage and in expanding the ranks of highly qualified specialists.”
In addition, the university’s honorary academics, including Academician of the Academy of Sciences D. Yusupova, Chairwoman of the Women’s Association of the Agrarian Sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Akhmedjanova, economist-academician S. Gulyamov, member of the Youth Parliament under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ch. Anvarbekova, as well as students’ parents, congratulated the youth on the beginning of the new academic year.
