Narzullo Oblomuradov, Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University and Professor, met with a delegation from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA). The delegation was led by Dr. Ilhan Aydin, TİKA Advisor on Food, Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries.
As noted, TSAU collaborates with more than 10 universities and research institutions in Türkiye. Joint educational programs, academic exchanges, and scientific research have been established with Ege University and Isparta University of Applied Sciences. Under the Erasmus+ KA171 program, 6 professors and instructors from the university have participated in academic mobility in Türkiye over the past two years. Additionally, 4 joint research projects are being implemented in cooperation with TÜBİTAK.
During the meeting, joint project proposals with TİKA were presented, including "Smart Beekeeping" and the breeding and development of Türkiye's "AKBAY" chicken breed in Uzbekistan. Within these initiatives, discussions focused on introducing modern technologies, establishing experimental sites, conducting research under local conditions, and organizing practical training sessions for farmers and the public.

Furthermore, the prospects for expanding cooperation and applying Türkiye's advanced experience and technologies to Uzbekistan's agricultural sector were explored within the framework of projects planned for implementation by the TİKA Uzbekistan Office in 2027.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to jointly develop promising projects, effectively utilize existing scientific capacity and resources, and elevate mutually beneficial agricultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye to a new level.
