As part of his visit to the United States, the Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University, N. Oblomuradov, visited the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Virginia Tech University and held discussions on new areas of cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed the establishment of academic exchange programs, professional development opportunities for faculty members, and the expansion of collaboration in scientific research. Agreements were reached to create opportunities for TSAU students to participate in short-term and semester-based study programs.
The initiative to establish a joint Agroengineering School in the fields of modern agricultural technologies, smart farming, and innovative engineering was also supported during the meeting.
The parties also exchanged views on supporting youth startup projects, strengthening cooperation between the incubation centers of both countries, and encouraging promising student ideas through international programs.
