An important field training seminar dedicated to improving agricultural productivity was held at the fields of Dax Poletex LLC, located in the Gulistan area of Saykhunabad District, Syrdarya Region. The event focused on the application of modern agricultural technologies and strategies for increasing crop yields.
During the seminar, participants compared the traditional single-row cotton cultivation method with the advanced double-row system based on the Xinjiang model. The efficiency and agronomic advantages of both methods were assessed in practice. Experts also presented recommendations on scientifically based irrigation, systematic nutrient management, timely topping of cotton plants, the rational use of mineral fertilizers (macro- and micronutrients), and effective measures for protecting crops against diseases and pests.
The open discussion was attended by district agricultural officials, regional agronomists, and local farmers.
Professors and researchers from the Tashkent State Agrarian University exchanged views with farmers and agricultural specialists on the effective use of innovative agrotechnologies in cotton production, maintaining soil fertility, and increasing overall crop yields. They also provided science-based answers to participants’ questions and shared practical recommendations for improving cotton cultivation practices.
