Representatives of Tashkent State University of Agriculture are currently undertaking an internship at the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the People's Republic of China. The main objectives of the internship are to strengthen scientific, practical, and academic cooperation, learn from advanced international practices, and expand opportunities for introducing modern agricultural technologies into Uzbekistan's agricultural sector.
As part of the programme, university representatives are gaining experience in key areas such as cotton breeding, seed production, cotton cultivation technologies, and the control of plant diseases and pests. In addition, participants are developing practical skills in smart agriculture technologies, becoming familiar with modern agricultural machinery and mechanised farming methods, and learning how to monitor crop fields using drones and organise agricultural operations more efficiently.
